Packing List for the 2-Week Adventurous Peru Tour

Sunrise_Machu_Picchu.jpg

The climate on this trip is quite varied, from the desert oasis of Huacachina to the cold nights in the Andes mountains. In general, the weather is more on the chilly side, so we recommend packing one or two more warm items and one set for warmer weather.

We will guide you through the items you need. If you just want to download this list as a PDF, you can do that here:

  • Power bank

  • Adapter

  • Glasses and/or contact lenses (obviously just for those who need them)

  • Toiletries (travel size or refilled into smaller containers as you won’t need full bottles for two weeks)

  • Sunscreen

  • Mosquito repellent

  • Plasters, Ibuprofen, Imodium and any medication you think you might need

Optional

The following are optional and if you want to save some space, you won’t really need them. Except for the ear plugs and sleeping mask, if you are a very light sleeper.

  • Sleeping mask and/or Ear plugs

  • Headlamp

  • Entertainment (book or e-book reader, laptop, notebook and pens, etc.)

Clothes

Clothing-wise you will need more warm clothes than bikinis for this trip, but don’t forget to bring at least one for the desert. We would definitely recommend a warm lightweight puffer jacket for the chilly mountain nights, but also shorts for warmer days in the desert or for during the day. In general, we recommend versatile clothing. A warmer maybe a bit oversized button-down, that can be a shirt, but also add some extra warmth as a jacket on top of a jumper or hoodie. If you have any questions, just shoot us a message and we are happy to help you. We know it can be hard to make a final decision.
